Boil water notice for Levi Water Supply customers

LORENA, Texas (KWTX) – Due to a reduction in pressure, the  Texas Commission on Environmental0 Quality (TCEQ), is requiring Levi Water Supply to notify customers on Levi Pkwy., Iron Bridge Road, Monument Trail, Silo Hill, Foxtrot & Falls County customers and any customer that had a significant reduction in pressure, to boil their water prior to consumption (includes washing hands/face, brushing teeth).

Children, seniors and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria.

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS:  to ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes – water for drinking, cooking and ice making

should be boiled and cooled.  The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil – then boiled for two minutes.  In lieu of boiling water,

you can purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source for drinking or human consumption.  When it is no longer necessary

to boil water, you will be notified in the same manner as this notice that the water is safe for human consumption and drinking.
