Chick-fil-A was named the top restaurant chain in the United States, beating out other fast-food competitors, according to the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) restaurant report.
This is the seventh straight year the chicken chain has taken the No. 1 spot in the fast-food restaurant industry rankings.
Chick-fil-A scored an 83 out of 100 on the report, three points higher than second-place Domino’s, but also one point lower than last year’s winning score of 84. KFC, Starbucks and Five Guys rounded out the top five in the limited-service category.
McDonald’s was last on the list with a score of 70. The other chains in the bottom-five were Wendy’s, Sonic, Popeyes and Jack in the Box.
The rankings were compiled by surveying a half-million consumers and asking them questions about order accuracy, food quality, mobile app reliability and speed of service.
LongHorn Steakhouse was named the top full-service restaurant in the rankings with a score of 80, followed by Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel and Outback Steakhouse.
The bottom-five in the full-service category were IHOP, which scored a 74, along with Denny’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Cheesecake Factory and TGI Fridays.
